”Room was extremely small. We have stayed there before and had a wonderful space. Bathroom door had to be pulled shut with two people. I asked for a microwave one staff member said it would be in our room when we returned but it wasn’t. I called and asked for it again and was told they don’t do that. So which is it? I spent over $1,000 for a two night stay and my accommodations should have been much better than it was. Extremely disappointed! ”

”Went for our Babymoon. Stayed 4 nights. It was outstanding overall! Pros: nice and accommodating staff, ambience was perfection, resort is breathtaking, our room was amazing-loved the deep soaking tubs in and outside the room, heated bathroom floors!!! Dual sided Fireplace we used everyday. Loved the outdoor community fire pits . The water stations and provided refillable water bottle were great-great tasting water and so wonderful to not have to pay for waters. Shuttles to take you around...

”Nice enough, but furniture in the room was uncomfortable. I came home with bruises on both thighs from the "stalks" on the corners of the bed which I had to make sharp turns around to avoid the other furniture. The lounge chair was so stiff and hard it gave me a backache. Asked for and received a second chair so we could both use the table. Just disappointed.”

”Super nice hotel in downtown Monterey Bay! Loved that it was walking distance to a lot of things. Parking was either valet or self park. We did self park which is in a structure for the hotel. Next block over so easy to get to. Amenities were ok. We wished there was a refrigerator in the room. Staff were super nice and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. ”

”This is a brand new property, everything is clean and the design is lovely. Our only observations are that our room still smelled like new construction/paint. Obviously that's temporary. Our "premium" room was also directly on a street that had street parking and as a result was very noisy with cars coming and going. Others will have a different experience staying elsewhere in the hotel.”
