”Amazing place! Great buffet breakfast and also an option to have the breakfast on the barrel terrace. The only minus was that I was travelling with a friend and requested to have two separate blankets. There was an extra in the closet but no cover to it. When calling again to ask for the separate blanket we were broaght 4 extra sheets but still no cover to the extra blanket. (The barrels seem to be more for couples travelling but it would be nice if the hotel would accomodate for others as well...

”Well worth the cost of a luxury hotel. Staff and amenities were far above average. Breakfast was an unexpected spectacular surprise and very good. Highly recommend for staff courtesy, cleanliness, quality of food, location, parking availability and recommendations for finding local spots to visit ”

”Location and breakfast were great. The hotel itself needs some renovations. Some of the rooms have some obvious water damage and we had to change away from the first one. The second room was in better condition, but worn. The pool area had quite a bit of tiles missing from the floor and also could have used some renovations. Not worth the 4 star or the price.”

”Perfect location and perfect breakfast! Quite strong smell of the cleaner in the corridor, room and bed linen. Just to know if you are sensitive to the smell. Nice hotel anyway. ”

”I stayed for a day in Coimbra. The hotel was about 10-15 min walk from the railway station. Much of it could be walked in shade, so even the heat didn't bother me. The hotel itself is a modern, very clean place. Many hotels have a surprisingly small breakfast room, here it was large enough, even though i happened to be there at the "rush hour" i easily found a seat. Breakfast was good enough, i have had ones with larger selections,but also many times with less selections.The location is a couple...
