”Although I’d love to give this hotel 5 stars due to the price I paid per night, I cannot. One, the property needs better maintenance, the common areas need to be cleaned more often, there was tons of iguana poop by the pool, it was nasty; the bathrooms by the beach and lobby we’re disgusting; the first room we were given looked like a room at a motel - very outdated, dark & ugly. Not something you expect when paying $600+ a night. The AC did not work night, it was awful! We were upgraded the...

”We loved our stay! The hotel was in excellent condition and exceptionally clean. The restaurants were beautiful, well-maintained, and offered delicious food. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at La Marea Restaurant, and everything was absolutely delicious.
All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

”The "suite" was a single room with a king and pullout sofa, there was no separation. So if you are traveling with children be aware that this is the same as a double queen at any other hotel room.”

”The owners are great and very quick to respond. We had a couple of things that needed resolving which they did immediately. The beds are not the most comfortable, especially the sleeper sofa, it slants down. The cleaning person could do a better job but overall the owners made up for that.”
