”The location is in the cutest part of Nashville close to Belmont. Plenty of restaurants/coffee shops in walking distance. Lots of people out and about. The one hiccup we had was with a cleaning guy who literally blocked us out of the elevator and tried to shut the door on us. I’m like, we can ride with you dude. It’s okay. ”We were very disappointed on the experience. First, trying to contact the hotel ahead of time is a frustrating experience with automated phone systems and ai. When we got to the room, and went to bed, we found women’s underwear still in the bedding. The restaurants and bars on the property are average food and average service for the price. The furniture is a bit run down. This place was way too much for what you get. And the cleanliness was disgusting.”

The main falls in rock island state park are a site to see. They stretch a few hundred feet wide! Slowly cascading down a side of a rock faced wall. It is a short but tenuous hike to see the falls. But, they are some of the best you can see in the south east. Maybe not the tallest or most water flowing, but it is a beautiful, slow, and pooling fall. As an added bonus the river it flows into is controlled by a dam, so you can at times get up to the waterfall, and at other times raft the river which I'm guessing is a class 3-4. A friend of mine has rafted it from the northern most spot to put in to the falls, and he said it was technical, he's done it a few times now.
