”I liked that the hotel was all re done inside but in my own opinion the rooms have a weird laylout and were tiny. The fact that they are all re done makes it nice but if that was not the case I would not care for this hotel. It’s set off on its own island so have to drive into area with food and stores, they also offer transportation. In my opinion the website makes it look better than it is. Tiny gym but does the job. Indoor pool was small and cute. Small bakery only breakfast option in hotel...

”We are very happy to recommend Forty1. Our family of 4, with 2 teenage daughters accommodated nicely in the room of 2 queen size beds, city view. The gas fireplace did not work, though, but it did not play a big role in our stay during the summer hot season in July. Very attentive staff.”

”We liked the location of this property- right on Thames Street and within walking distance of the Newport sites. It was also very quiet at night and I slept like a rock! We appreciated the full kitchen and washer/dryer, complimentary beach towels, and there was plenty of room for our family of 5. We would definitely stay there again!”

”The loft was nicely decorated, very clean and in great condition! I stayed with several of my girlfriends and we all thought highly of the place. We were able to walk to dinner and the mansions were just a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again”

”The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound. Along with the loud music, people talking, chairs scraping...

”We loved the location, the layout of the loft, the kitchen and for the most part the bathrooms. At this price point, you expect perfection. ”Very disappointed, told manager he should be ashamed of putting anyone in that room…Room L.!!! Upon entering our room, we were overcome with a super strong unpleasant urine odor. The entire room was a disaster, a huge hole in the ceiling covered with some plexi boards and nails, and the carpet was rippled in several places, from where it had been wet. By far, the bathroom floor urine oder was the worst!! I called the Wynstones manager and he totally played dumb. Acted like it was impossible...
