”The staff were efficient and friendly. My room was nice and clean, although it wasn't fancy and in need of a face lift, like myself. It was very comfortable and quiet on the top floor so slept like a baby. My 2nd visit at the Madison Plaza and i would stay there again when visiting my son as it's in a perfect location to get around with the 50 cent bus fares, also priced well if you're just looking for somewhere clean to place your head down at night.”

”Convenient location quite close to Palmer St restaurants and attractions at the harbour. Our room had a kitchenette with utencils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher etc. and there was a laundry machine and a dryer. The Oaks M is located behind the Metropolitan hotel, and is not easy to see from the street. It even features a (fairly typical) gym, which has dumbbells up to 20 kg, though. ”Clean and tidy accommodation with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very helpful and polite. Only downfall was the on-site car parking. It was difficult to park a larger car in the allotted spaces available. Appart from this, my family and I found the Clarion to be a great place to stay in Townsville. ”

”Peppers Location is 100%, short walk from ferry. Bus stop is also located at the ferry terminal with easy access around the island, $1.00 per person hop on and off all day pass is unbeatable. The resort pools and grounds are kept beautiful. We only used the restaurant for breakfast and sadly found breakfast basic and cold, the outside chairs have mould and could do with a scrub. Our 3 room apartment could do with a freshen up, metal stools were rusty. I will defiantly go back to see if advice...

”Time we spent well there loved the views from the top floor, but as we started to settle in and actually take notice of the place the it was not clean properly, dished still had lip prints and hand prints on them, dishes, pots and cutlery was not washed up and cleaned properly, floor was making the bottom of our foot black not sure if they mopped, sheets had stains on them, curtains had dirt or mould on it, fans and lights dusty and looked like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. It’s not kids...

”We loved our stay, the apartment had plenty of room for our family of 5, we could spread out and not feel on top of one another! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed! ”
