”Good hotel with mediocre service and poor tasting buffet - That sums up the hotel rather nicely. We liked the hotel room and the facilities, nicely built! But staff and their service was stiff, regulated, non-personal and at times just bad. We couldnt get to rent their bikes because they had time regulations (?!) and when we ate the dinner buffet and found plastic piece around the sushi roll the waiter told without blinking an eye "that It is there on purpouse to keep The sushi fresh"...yeah,...

”This hotel is overpriced. I don't recommend to stay there in normal price. It's not worth it. If you will stay there, don't take cheaper mountain view. The view can be to parking area. Lakeview is more expensive but nice. Breakfast is eastern style.”

”Great accommodation in terms of location. They were also very family friendly. I’d pick this one over the other Lealea site because it has elevators. They gave us a baby cot and it was great. I did see some mold at the bathroom. The accommodation isn’t as great as some other 4-star hotels I have been in . ”

”Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours. ”
