”Our stay at The Loren at Pink Beach was excellent. The room was really clean, modern and well-stocked. The view of the ocean from the room was beautiful and calming. It was so nice that the hotel is right along the beach. We spent a lot of time there collecting seaglass and making sandcastles. Our child also loved the kids playroom especially on the colder days. We ended up eating around one meal a day at the hotel's restaurant which was quite filling and the quality of the food and service...

Railway Trail runs along the north side of the island. As you walk, you'll go in old train tunnels, walk under tropical canopies, and stroll on the grass "sidewalks" until the trail picks up again. There are great views of the ocean, homes, and plants. In Bermuda, you are allowed to paint your house the color of your choice but the roof must be white. This is because there is no fresh water source on the island so each home harvests rain water to use in the home. The water is stored under the house in large tanks. But why white? The white used to be from lime mortar that has anti-bacterial properties, now the the roofs are painted white which reflects UV light from the sun and helps purify the water. If I had a house in Bermuda, it would be teal!
