”The hotel definately has it's charm but with some facelifting the experience could be a lot better. The room I was offered was probaly renovated not after the 90's or even late 80's. The electrical wirings are also old - couldn't fit my standard grounded computer recharger in the power plugs of the room. Even though perfectly cleaned, the worn out table with dents left a bit untidy impression of the room. The soundproofing is quite poor and woke up in the night to some music and talking from the...

”For us the main reason to come to Vevey was to go to the Chaplin Museum, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel, everything was perfect: the room, service, location, the hotel is in a very beautiful building situated on a lake. We loved Vevey, it is a quiet place, very relaxing, a short bus ride to the museum, the hotel gives a free pass to the public transportation. I strongly recommend the hotel, Vevey and the fantastic Chaplin Museum. ”

”We arrived at the location and they didn't let us check in because we weren't a family. We were a couple of friends and just wanted to have location to enjoy out short holidays. They told us they would refund the money but just kept ignoring our messages. We had to do an online check-in where the saw that we weren't a family and didn't say anything until we drove 6h there.
