”The stay was excellent - room, amenities restaurants. Servers were good. Housekeeping, conceirge. Front desk can do better. We requested two things from Front Desk and did not receive return calls. First we requested extra note pads for writing for two children ages 4 and 5 - and front desk affirmatively indicated the note pads would ve sent up. They were forgotten totally. Two calls and no update. On the third call request, front desk apologized profusely and gave the children stuffed...

”Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning...

”1940’s estate is maintained to remind you of those times. There was a “Speak-EZ” in the basement they had open Friday and Saturday evenings. My room was spacious and included a balcony. Huge front lawn with a pool and a view to the Bay. ”
