”From the moment I arrived, Miss Ten was so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet and air conditioned. The shower was enclosed, which was a first for me in Vietnam. Water prices from the mini bar were good and she invited me for lunch with her and her family, which I had to decline, but it was a lovely offer. The location is excellent. There are bicycles you can take for a ride around the area. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hoi An. ”

”This Hotel is one of my all time favourites. The location is perfect - a walking distance from the super touristy Old town. Owners are really friendly and the staff keeps your room always well cleaned. Room is also big enough to have exercise. Breakfast is buffet style and it’s totally western style. Wi-Fi is also working good and it handled streaming and Skype calls.”

”The Calm House is really tranquil and nice. It’s in a residential neighborhood, but not in a busy road - so you’ll hear mostly roosters to your room. It’s bit far from the centre, but still within walking distance (15 minutes). The staff is really nice and speak good English too!”

”This hotel is not a big, fancy hotel. But it was clean and comfortable enough. Room rate is extremely cheap but still includes nice breakfast! And it does have a POOL! And it takes 15mins to Old town by walk. Hosts were really kind and helpful! I’d like to say Thank you so much once again! If you look for somewhere cheap but neat, this is it. ”

”Owners were friendly enough but room was half renovated with wires sticking out the walls and hardly any lighting. No pool but little garden to sit in. Rooms are very old fashion decorated Location is good short walk to beach We left after 1 night and had paid online but they tried to get us to pay again in cash. Which we didn’t have so had to walk half of an bang to find an atm to pay again (hotel’s said they would refund me) Owner didn’t understand one word of English (which is ok...

”very helpful host in arranging laundry and transportation, albeit slightly more expensive, but paying for the convenience. gave recommendations for local food and tailor as well. room was very clean. had some issue with hot water initially but responsive in resolving it quickly. bikes looked to be in old condition, and we felt like we were discouraged from using them.”

”Hotellet ligger 10min sykkelvei fra gamlebyen og stranden, perfekt sted da man får låne sykler på hotellet. Familien som eier og driver stedet gjorde hele vårt opphold! De stiller opp og ordner og fikser, holdt matkurs+lunsj for alle som bodde der pga nyttårsaften. Absolutt beste verten vi har hatt på reisen rundt i Vietnam!”

"Uudehko hotelli hyvällä paikalla. Nuori henkilökunta tekee parhaansa asiakkaan viihtymisen eteen. Mainostetaan 5* hotelliksi, mutta ei aivan sinne yllä. Ruuan taso aamiaisella jätti toivomisen varaa. Mehut vetisiä, leivät ja leivonnaiset välillä vanhoja. Mutta hinta oli hyvä. Kattoterassilla ruoka oli parempaa."

"We had booked transportation from the airport to the hotel, but the experience did not meet the expectations set by the advertisement. The service was provided by a different company, not the hotel itself. As token of good will hotel organized properly the return to airport without cost. The service overall felt bit disorganized, likely caused by having quite many employees and too much chaos. It’s understandable to prepare for Christmas season with extra staff but good to stop and see how it shows to customers. Restaurant was really positive highlight - well done! As well as Skylar staff was great! Location wise great - just at beach. With some attention to minor details this hotel could be best in class. "
