In addition, there are many opportunities to experience the nature around Aabenraa, either walking along the Hærvejen or on the Kløverstierne in the center of town. Here you get a good starting point for excursions in South Jutland. Within half an hour by car you can reach the historic cities of Haderslev, Sønderborg, Tønder or Flensburg.
