”A lovely hotel with delicious food and a beautiful, peaceful setting. You should stay here.
We stayed in a little stone cottage separate from the hotel an easy 5-minute walk up the hill. It used to be the dog kennels. In fact, the low stone walls topped with iron fencing that served as the two outside pens of the kennel are still there, as are the doggie doors -- tho’ these are firmly closed. ”Stayed for one night in the Terrace room. The beautiful hotel and grounds were so much more than we expected and the welcoming, friendly and caring staff made us feel so well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole experience left us feeling relaxed and cared for.”

”Delicious menu on offer, to supplement the great buffet. Enjoyed the decor/ambience of the breakfast room. Perfect location and the host gave spot-on nature, history and shopping suggestions. Loved our Pheasant Suite too. ”
