”Quaint little place right off the River Dee in Aboyne. They have taken care to make sure you have all the modern amenities, but also retain a pub style cafe at the front of the inn. The staff were very kind, the food was amazing, and the beer was cold. I have been here almost 2 weeks and this was one of the best places I have stayed. Strongly recommend if you are passing through Aboyne. If you don’t plan on going to Aboyne, you should reconsider given the shine of this little gem…”

”The owners were so sweet, very informative about area and places to eat nearby, the room was so clean, heater worked great, bed was so comfortable, water pressure excellent and those towels were like blankets, the breakfast was menu with lots of choices including the full Scottish breakfast as an option, tea was great, coffee was wonderful, location was on a working farm it was the best stay thus far on our roadtrip thru Scotland, would definitely stay again!!!!”

”We were only in Stonehaven for one night. However, the Ship Inn was a great choice. We (4 of us) had dinner there and it was excellent! The waiting-staff was very friendly and helpful. We had included breakfast there the next morning as well and we were glad we did with made-to-order items as well as some buffet-choices. The rooms were comfortable and the view of the harbor was wonderful. ”
