”We had a lovely time in the lodge. It was clean and lovely and warm and the member of staff we delt with, (Linda), went the extra mile to make sure we were ok and happy. An excellent location and fantastic walks around the lock.We look forward to returning soon.”

”Very nice lodge, clean & comfortable. Great location in lovely surroundings. Nice walk to the loch straight from the door. Nice hot shower . Comfortable bed . The only way it would improve is a better sofa & chairs which were not the best to lounge about in but it certainly wouldn't put me off booking again ( just a slight niggle!). Overall a nice week.”

”Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.”

”Tolles Hotel! Man fühlt sich wie ein Herzog/in in einem der tollen schottischen Schlösser in den Hotelzimmern mit Kronleuchter, hohen Decken, den Möbeln! Es ist ein altes Haus aber sehr gut instandgehalten. Fenster kann man gut öffnen. Das Bad ist sehr modern mit Lüftung. Wir hatten sogar 2 getrennte Zimmer. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend! Warmes Frühstück kann man bestellen (im Preis inkl.). Cappuccino leider nicht inklusive. 1 Stern Abzug, weil man immer etwas auf das Personal wartet - an...

”The hotel is beautiful and the amenities such as the pool, workout room, etc. are excellent. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the finer dining restaurant. The service was great at check in, check out and the restaurant. Our room was extremely spacious and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the sitting area very nice. The big negative is there is no air conditioning. I guess I should have assumed this since the building is so old but we have stayed at older places that...

”Our room was beautiful and themed so a nice touch but we felt there wasn’t a relaxing seating area apart from outside but cold and windy and the bar so no cosy seats a quieter area to chill”
