”hôtel-pub très bien situé le long de la rivière, parking gratuit pour les hôtes. Superbe chambre bien équipée et situé au calme. Petit-déjeuner au pub dans une ambiance très cosy, les petits-déjeuners étaient très bon! Le personnel très prévenant et gentil. Je tiens d'ailleurs à remercier chaleureusement la superviseur qui nous à permis de pouvoir arriver à 01h00 du matin suite à un accident qui nous à bloqué sur la route, peu d'hôtels auraient offert un tel service! Encore merci! Nous y...

”The small village of Tarland is very quiet, so we were surprised at just how good the Commercial Hotel is. I understand that a lot of walkers & cyclists use the hotel and I'm not surprised, as it is in beautiful surroundings and only 5 miles from Aboyne.
We received a very pleasant welcome, and our room was large, beautifully furnished and very quiet. Whilst we stayed for 2 nights, circumstances meant we only had breakfast although on our last evening, we saw that the restaurant was quite...

”Stayed in the Kennel room at this beautiful old hunting lodge. Attentive staff. Enjoyed an excellent dinner and walked the grounds. Funky charm in the very best sense. Wished to stay longer!”

”Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know.”

”We stayed in one of the offsite casa style rooms which was perfect for our family (we were parents travelling with two teenagers). Room was clean and had all we needed for our two night stay. We appreciated the afternoon scones and tea in the main hotel. We were surprised that our rooms didn’t have any housekeeping between our first and second nights so I’m not sure if that was part of the casa room service or not but our request for addition towels was taken care of quickly!”
