”We were visiting family in Bristol for the holidays and used Founders Brook as our home base for five nights. The property is close to Portsmouth’s downtown area and a hop over the bridge to Bristol. We had some of the best sleep we’ve had in years and felt very at home. This is the fourth time we have stayed here and each time we notice improvements. Love the complimentary toiletries!!”

”I stayed for 3 nights in a single room. The staff was nice but the first room I was assigned was extremely dirty. They did switch me to a clean room with no fuss thankfully. The new room was clean. It had a microwave and fridge, both were not as clean as I would have liked but not very dirty. The fridge in the room had a freezer which was unexpected but nice. There was a lot of noise outside at night for some reason. The room came with small things of shampoo and conditioner which was nice....

”Rooms were immaculate, location is great, just a short distance to Newport shops and restaurants.Hotel provides a shuttle service which makes traveling to Newport easy if you don't want to drive. Staff could not be any helpful and polite.”

The room was clean and included a nice breakfast in the morning. The lobby was really nice and had a full bar. We’ll definitely stay again in future trips to New Bedford.”
