In the valley of Basket Range, perched on the hillside above Sixth Creek is Pickers Hut. Adorned with vintage furniture, luxury linens and romantic touches, the two-bedroom cabin is the ultimate couple’s or small family’s escape, 20 minutes from Adelaide city.

Noted for its orchards of apples and cherries, Basket Range is a valley of rare beauty. Relax by the fireplace or take in the sounds and views under the corrugated iron veranda.

Whether you are sitting out on the deck with the fire pit going or getting cosy around the lounge room's slow combustion wood fireplace, Pickers is a place oozing charm and comfort. The kitchenette is equipped with hotplate and microwave, cooking utensils, tea and coffee facilities, fresh linen and towels.

Pickers Hut boasts unbeatable private valley views and access to walnut, chestnut and apple groves, that guests can enjoy foraging during most seasons.

Whilst we love our pets, unfortunately we can not accomodate them at Pickers Hut.

Pickers Hut is located is located 20 minutes from Adelaide city. We encourage guests to explore the vibrant Adelaide Hills communities including the townships of Uraidla, Summertown, Ashton and Norton Summit which make for charming day trips. Discover heritage buildings, local galleries and sample the best produce from South Australia’s restaurants, cellar doors and cafes.

During the cherry and apple picking seasons, guests can ‘pick your own’ from our recommended local orchards. These orchards are listed in our online Guidebook.
