We liked the architecture of the building. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the coffee machine but the staff member was able to find another machine for us after trying hard to fix the one we had. This solved the issue. The room was clean and quite roomy. The water pressure was great in the shower! The scenery was lovely.

酒店内花园景色非常美，就是去酒店的道路稍微绕和狭窄一些，还好那里车辆也比较少，就是最好不要在深夜才开去酒店，疫情期间酒店也不提供任何的餐饮服务，不知以后会不会开放

Beautiful location. Nice clean 2 storey room. Big bathroom with jetted tub which was quite relaxing. Continental breakfast provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Manor and would recommend this place.

The sliding door to the toilet / bathroom was jammed and would not slide and the area behind sliding door neefs a clean. The toilet seat would not stay up when my husband used the toilet. The heater timing switch is on a very limited timer which isnt long enough during showering.

Lovely clean spacious room. It was a very cold day and the room was freezing when we arrived so took a while to warm up. Didn't have the best sleep as we did not find the bed very comfortable. But overall absolutely beautiful property.

The place was set in a quiet location surrounded by natural beauty of the Adelaide hills .The castle like manor has a nostalgic feel about it and it’s surrounds with its magnificent gardens .The place was very clean but for someone who desired to eat in, there are no real cooking facilities or even utensils eg a can opener Otherwise all good It would probably have been ideal to have someone on the premises to go to for any advice on the property or general maintenance

We absolute loved this “castle” hotel! The 2 story room was so different to normal hotel rooms. The bathroom was HUGE and clean, and we had a lovely spa bath. The continental breakfast had lots of nice things. The bed was clean and comfy with the biggest TV we’ve ever had in a hotel bedroom. The grounds were gorgeous and the whole place would be perfect for a wedding. Naomi was wonderful to deal with via email. We will definitely be back on our next SA visit.

I enjoyed spending time at this accommodation on a rainy winters day reading a book and drinking a glass of red. Visited the Bierhaus close by for a delicious meal.

Not The Place To Stay.
Great location and set up for weddings, not for over night stays.firstly you couldn't find any staff because they were setting up for a wedding. i was told my room was number 4 and left to my own devices. once inside i find the bedroom toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, the bathroom vanity had two draws that opened into your hand and a glass holder with no glass, in the bedroom the 6 picture hooks on the wall with nothing hanging on them. The bedroom was upstairs and next to the bed was a arched door going onto a balcony with a great winters draft blowing straight onto your bed.The free breakfast was two slices of bread for you to toast and a tub of yogurt each which was in a alcove that you couldn't swing a cat in.when i found someone to see if there was anything they could do they gave me a free bottle of wine. Not a place i would recommend for the price or the rating.

Hello John We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, we do have countless happy accommodation guests who love to stay with us but we are not a hotel, we are self catering bed and breakfast style accommodation with self check in ( we send a text message with arrival details so you can easily check straight into your room) We have been displaying various local artists work within the rooms and were just in between artists in your room during your stay, apologies for this ( however our pictures of rooms on this site have no art work on display). The breakfast is actually 2 slices of bread per person, an assortment of berrenberg jams, honey and Vegemite, muesli, a yoghurt tub per person and 2 pieces of fresh fruit per person plus orange juice, bottled water, T2 teas and robert timms coffee bags. We are sorry this was not to your liking and not sure what else we can provide for a self catering breakfast in room? The kitchenette you refer to has a full size kitchen sink, bar fridge, toaster, microwave and cupboards stocked with crockery, cutlery and glassware. When you found a staff member you asked if you could be upgraded to a spa room but we didn't have any available, he also fixed the draw which had come off it's rails, once again I am not sure what else you want your expected. Sorry a past guest broke the glass soap dish that sits in the holder and we are trying to source another that can fit in that spot. I feel your review is completely unjust and you should have read the property description more thoroughly as we do not state that we are a full service hotel. A great place to stay. Great spa. All modern facilities. Just remember to take the insect spray upstairs. Mosquitoes can be annoying. A very relaxing time.

Very unique property with gorgeous gardens and surrounds. No checkin desk/receptionist is an excellent concept. However some more instructions on the booking site regarding the checkin system would be nice so you realise that before hand. Refurbed nicely and the breakfast was simple but everything you need. Liked how you didnt have to leave your room for breakfast and could just make it at your own leisure. The only downside was the aircon was a bit weak (we just cleared out the filter and it worked fine after though) and there was no hot water in the morning for our shower! (Was working fine the night before though). The cleaner was really lovely and even helped us take some photos before we left! Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend. We will definitely return!
