”Great location right off Main Street but away from the crowds. Food options were very limited for non-meat eaters. We would have loved to have dinner at the beautiful restaurant in the hotel but it was very meat-oriented. The rooms are basic but very nice, and designed almost Nordic-style (like Iceland). The hospitality was incredible! The staff were exceptionally friendly and are there to make your stay great. The iced coffee drinks at the "Pharmacy" were delicious! ”

The room is outdated but is clean and the bed so comfy.
All the areas at The hotel are nice: they have firepits and lounge areas for small groups which we enjoyed; they have 2 pools and a jacuzzi (super hot water btw), clean water 👍👍 and it’s walking distance from all the shops in main st.
I will definitely will go back for a couple nights.

”Our room was very nice and had a lovely balcony with a view of the pool. The pool was large and felt more like a resort property pool. There was a nice hot tub, a few kid friendly slides, a grotto area, and several fire pit areas. ”
”Closer to the road than expected. Road noise did not bother us. Lovely spot and a convenient drive to do things in Fredericksburg and surrounding areas.”
”The only issue I have is it seems when I arrive there's no one at the front desk so that I can check in. I wish the front desk had something to notify them that I or someone else is waiting so I'm not standing there for ten minutes or more. Other than that, I've always enjoyed my stay. Having a balcony is a huge plus and I always enjoy sitting outside watching the traffic. At night though because the heat is brutal. ”
”This was our second stay in the La Hermosa suite and it was perfect! My husband and I love this property, the room is beautiful and so thoughtfully appointed. The complimentary snacks and drinks are very nice. The pool area is wonderful. During the first stay they brought breakfast in the morning, but they do not offer it anymore. Not sure if this is a seasonal or permanent change, but we did miss it. Nonetheless The Menagerie is just fantastic!”
”Absolutely loved our stay at the bluebonnet cottage! Was a perfect oasis for a quiet romantic get away. Only suggestion would to light the trail to the bluebonnet as well as signage for that location like the rest. And steps for the hot tub at the bluebonnet cottage it was really hard to get in and out of. Plan to make it a yearly trip! ”
