”Checking in was not with real staff but rather by a visual computer screen and by a person who spoke with an accent that is difficult to understand. There was a staff at the front desk but did nothing to help unless you asked for. We didn’t feel welcomed by this procedure. The same process was with checking out. Hotel is close to freeway and a busy street so it is noisy. However, the room was clean and spacious. There is no elevator.”

”Rooms were very nice and large. Staff was very friendly. The gym was equipped with everything, but didn’t get a chance to use it or the pool. Love that it was near everything and not to far from Sonoma. I would definitely stay here again.”

”The staff was really great, and the property was pretty clean and safe. We went to a car show in downtown Petaluma the following day and our classic cars are safe in the parking lot, all night long. This place is also not far from a bunch of good places to eat. Mainly for breakfast, there is a Henny Penny, right across the highway. But, they also serve free breakfast in the morning, and that wasn’t a bad deal at all. There weren’t too many negatives. One was, the pool was dirty and didn’t make...

”The room was barley clean enough to sleep in the door didn’t fully seal so it was freezing at night multiple are living here and is definitely creeping in the even hours and it looks like someone died their hair blue in the bathroom and they’re was residue EVERYWHERE”

”Really nice country Inn. I really liked the room and the large bathroom. There were nice little treats in the room and a coffee maker as well as a fridge. The room was clean. The only reason, I didn't give it a 5 is that there was no front desk and pillows were so thick that I had a difficult time sleeping.”

”We weren’t at the hotel much during our stay but we did think the room and property were lovely. We did eat breakfast one morning and it was delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. They have a lot of information about what to do in the area and the complimentary wine and snacks are a great touch!”

”Brand new so of course it’s clean and tidy. Staff was not helpful- a woman was trapped in the elevator for over an hour before they would call 911- they wanted to wait for the tech. Hot breakfast was nice but they weren’t prepared for the volume of people at all! Convenient location - can walk to downtown Novato!”

”We were happy to stay at Inn at Sonoma. The room was nice and clean, but quite pricey and lacking personality. There was a balcony and roof terrace wits sun chairs and a hot tub. Complimentary wine and cheese was a nice surprise. We also got good tips of vineyards and we borrowed bikes to get to wineries nearby. I would recommend this hotel!”
