”We were in town for my grandmother’s funeral and wanted to spend a little time exploring CVille and Monticello while we were here. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and cozy. It was perfect walking distance to restaurants and the mall. We were a quick drive to Monticello and hikes. Beds were comfy. My boys loved the sonic the hedgehog video game on the TV when we were packing up and during a storm that came through. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our family. ”

”The house and farm are just beautiful. We spent nearly the entire stay on the screened porch listening to the birds, watching the horses, goats, and chickens and enjoying the quiet serenity of the country. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and welcoming. We wondered around the property and soaked up the country, ate some amazing farm raised eggs, and made several excursions to nearby Monticello, antique shops, UVA, and 1799 at the Clifton for dinner. I highly recommended this beautiful...

”We had an amazing vacation here at Sutton’s Roost. Home was terrific for us and our kids. Tons of room, well stocked kitchen, hot tub and sauna to calm our aching muscles after hiking all over the place. Upper back porch to relax and eat and watch the stars. Game room for movie nights with giant TV. Huge comfy beds for all. Wintergreen resort and surrounding area is absolutely amazing. We hiked all the hikes they recommended, walked all over Wintergreen, played in multiple waterfalls, did a...

”It was lovely. The house was clean and well layed out. Washer and dryer were great, bedding comfortable. We really enjoyed the porch. Lovely view of the 15th hole. And we were able to walk the cart path prior to the club opening and it was a challenging walk. I am a nature lover and this house had an abundance of flowers in the yard. Birds and wildlife. It was also a pretty easy walk to the overlook just down the hill. 1 of the best views at Wintergreen. Hike back up was a little more strenuous....

”Scott is probably one of the most proactive and generous hosts I've ever encountered on any STR platform. From the get-go he offered us late check out and other lovely suggestions and accommodations. The home is beautifully located and oh so peaceful and quaint. Check in was very easy, there is no signal (as Scott warned) about 15min or so out, but once you arrive and connect to the WiFi we didn't have any issues. It also has every amenity you could imagine, especially in the kitchen, we ended...

”A great place, very clean and so well equipped, especially the kitchen. The beds are comfortable and have duvets with covers. Cozy! It was great to have a bathroom for each bedroom plus a half bath on the first floor. The house is in a good location, an easy walk to ‘downtown’ with good restaurants and interesting stores. Staunton is a nice town and good location to explore the Shenandoah Park. ”
