”The house was everything we could have hoped for and more! Honestly, just perfect across the board. Hands down the best home we have ever had the opportunity to stay. Phenomenal communication with the Host. The coffee and wine upon arrival was a great touch! We loved the live oak tree in the back yard and the many species of birds and the deer walking nearby too! ”Booking and check in were smooth. However, at the time of our booking, the property was listed as accommodating 11 people, which we discovered was not the case. The master bedroom alone was reported to have 2 king beds and 2 queen beds, but when we checked in, there was only 1 king. We promptly messaged the owner. ”The house is ok, but the photos are not representative of the actual experience. The house needs a lot of work. It’s clear that they’ve done some updating, but it needs a lot more. The hot tub is in a pool of water from the unit on the roof leaking like a hose. There is a strange back door that has been filled in, but is crumbling. The stove doesn’t fit the counter. ”We booked through Expedia we waited over 6 hours to get our room. Rooms still needed to be cleaned when we arrived, mind you check in was 3pm and we arrived on time. Because we went through Expedia we were not a priority. Eventually got our room about 830pm-9pm.”
