”I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens.”

”We appreciated the careful and loving restoration of this charming cottage perfectly placed to the center of Beauvias and equally close to lovely natural walks by the rivers and lakes. Op 8 minuten lopen is een treinstation van waar je in 45 minuten met een directe trein op Gare du Nord zit. Dus ook prima voor een dagje Parijs. ”I'd cycled to Beauvais as part of the Avenue Verte on the way to Paris, I arrived earlier than expected but pretty tired, I hadn't realised that the B&B didn't open until 5pm (this was at 2pm), luckily Stephan came down and opened up early for me. The room I had was stunning and I will definitely be back for a stay with a special friend. Breakfast gets plenty of mentions in other reviews but I found there was plenty of choice to keep me powering toward Paris. Thank you”

”The whole hotel was very dirty except the reception. I reserved three rooms for three people. One room had begbug fecies in the bed, one room had a mattress that had big blood stains, and the third room was dirty also. We left the hotel without staying there as it was disgusting. I am still waiting for reimbursement for the rooms. I recommend this hotel to no-one.”

"I checked the box to include the breakfast for my reservations (2 rooms, 5 people total). The schedule was tight due early flight. When checking in, asked if it would be possible to get earlier breakfast, the receptionist was just waving his hands and said no. Ok, we’d just do it quickly at 5:00AM when breakfast normally opens, I thought. Well, breakfast was not open at 5:00AM as promised, and to top the poor experience I got told at this point that there are only 2 breakfast paid (one per room). Naturally I got really pissed off at this point told the receptionist some unkind words and stormed out without any breakfast as there was no time to start resolving the issue due to the early flight. Not sure if the breakfast issue was on hotels.com end or Ibis, but the order should warn if incomplete set of breakfast is being ordered. Felt like the hotel was trying to scam more money out of us. The hotel is quite far from esp. terminal 1 of Beauvais airport. Recommend reserving 15min for the walk. Getting a taxi early in the morning is not possible within 25 minutes according to the incompetent reception. Rooms are modern and clean, but very crammed. Air confitioning is noisy, but works. No fridge/minibar. I don’t recommend this hotel. I will never visit Ibis hotels again."
