”The Shikitei is right on the edge of Nara Park - essentially it is in the park. In terms of position it couldn't be better.
It had all the comforts of a ryokan including a great onsen bath,, and wonderful staff.
I can't recommend it more highly.”

”Excellent service, best hotel on our two week trip in Japan (Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto & Nara). Best breakfast too and buffet type dinner was superb. Nice extra was those two (free!) massage chairs. Room was nice, rather large and quiet and bathroom was clean. ”

”I will start by saying I normally find premium brands of hotel chains not great value for price. But not the JW Marriott Nara! From the minute we checked in the service and hospitality was tremendous. Even the smell of the hotel was unique and comforting. One of my travel partners bought some of their air “therapy” to take home. Our room was luxurious without being over the top. Amenities like sauna, jacuzzi and pool felt like we were in a high end resort somewhere. The breakfast was fresh with...

”I was considering wether to stay next to Nara Park (and in a Ryokan) or here next to the train station. I was very satiesfied with my choise since it was easy to arrive, move around and the hotel reminded ryokan because of its style. I could hear the trains passing by it didn’t bother me and otherwise my room was very quiet. The onsen spa downstairs is really nice. What I didn’t like that much was the lights in the room, I didn’t know how to switch toilet light off and the automatic light was a...

”Absolutely gorgeous place, super close to Nara park. After hiking to Mount Wakakusa my wife and I enjoyed the private hot springs. It was surreal enjoying the hot water while listening to the rain in the rock garden area. We would definitely come back if we find ourselves in Nara. ”

”Escaping from daily busy life. From the beginning the hospitality was warming and excellent. The front desk lady super duper nice, showed us the facility, amenities and genuinely happy to have us the onsen/ryokan experience. The bath house was nice and clean. The room with the view of the city was just spectacular a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. i highly recommended this to get away from the hustle and bustle of OSAKA.”

8/10 Hyvä
"Hyvä sijainti julkisia silmälläpitäen. Täysin koneellistettu check-in ja check-out eli kaikki kommunikaatio tapahtui automaatin kanssa.
