”This property is no where near Akumal beach. They need to change that. If you stay here know you will need a car. There is nothing near you. The actual home is beautiful. But!! Get some paper towels and cleaner and other cleaning supplies in the unit. It’s very spartan. ”

It only takes a second, but that gives you a good feeling about security and safety. It was nice to have a garage for the car and a pool to relax! Very private back yard and quiet at night. ”The location is absolutely gorgeous, if you don't mind a built-up area. The snorkelling just off the beach is great. Seeing the sunrise from the bed was a great experience. Unfortunately, everything felt a bit old and not really clean. We had to wash all dishes before we could use them. The bed sheets did not feel as fresh as in other places. ”When we arrived we only had about 1/4 of a big jug of water. I emailed property and were told water is on us. So we of course bought our own.
