Villa Isabel is situated in a cliff-top tourist resort, Cala’n Porter, on the south coast of the island and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The town has everything within walking distance, with a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops. The wonderful beach with crystal clear waters can be accessed via road or steps and offers two beach bars serving local tapas and beverages. Other south coast beaches (Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa, Son Bou) can be reached within 15 minutes by car, and the capital town Mahon is also only a 10 minute drive away. Car hire is available from the resort and a daily bus service runs between Cala'n Porter and Mahon.

The garden area has a spacious terrace surrounding the kidney-shaped swimming pool, which is furnished with comfortable loungers for relaxing in the sun. The porch area, with direct access to the lounge and kitchen, has a table and chairs for al fresco dining and a stone barbeque for open-air cooking.
