This is the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The grounds around the hotel are in poor condition and everything inside is in major need of updating. The staircase walking up to our room was filthy, the carpeting looked as if it had never been cleaned and was covered with stains. The bathroom fixtures were rusted, shower curtain rod broken, toilet seat stained. I made sure to wear flipflops while walking around the room and wore them in the shower.
Mattress was very firm, bedding was stained. I contemplated buying sheets at nearby Target and was concerned about possibility of bedbugs. AC was noisy - bring earplugs. I felt sorry for the staff, it’s clearly not their fault but the ownership’s lack of attention to updates.
We were in the area for a concert at SPAC and wanted something inexpensive - I cannot believe we paid over $500 to stay here for 2 nights. Based on the condition of the hotel, we should have only paid $150 max. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $100 and stay somewhere else. Pictures on expedia do not represent the current state of this place.
