”Staying at the Blanco Riverside Cottages & RV was a wonderful experience. The check-in and room code for the door was all handled via email. We also had access to the Blanco State Park from our courtyard area. We had a beautiful view from our balcony and our stay was extremely quiet; we saw other guests, but never heard a sound from anyone. Our villa was huge and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. We will definitely stay again if they have a room available for our next trip back.”

”This was our 14th time to rent Deer Ridge in the past 12 years. It has been our little piece of heaven away from the busy-ness of our lives here in Huntsville. However, over the past 4-5 years, the owners have allowed this property to gradually fall into dis-repair and un-attractiveness - - It is no longer an appealing place for us to stay. They have reduced the amenities to almost nothing and the maintenance to the “bare essentials” - - the cabin was not near as clean as it formerly was and...

”We've stayed there over several years and really enjoyed it. But its getting old. Front door lock and skeleton key were a nightmare. Several minutes of jiggling to get inside on arrival. Both of us tried, and then had great difficulty getting the key out of the lock. Same thing happened after we returned from a day of shopping. Took almost 20 minutes. Back door is hard to close because the weather stripping is torn and kept folding over on itself. There was a lot of ice build up in the freezer.We...

”Convenient location to all of Hill country, Austin and San Antonio. The house was comfortable and had areas to get some alone time if needed. Plenty of storage in bedrooms/baths and kitchen which is many times not the case in vacation rentals. Enjoyed breakfast on the porch watching the squirrels and birds playing in the trees with a view of the river in the background. Can't say anything about the hot tub...too hot to use it! The house is good for a couple, two couples/ kids or a Girls trip....

”My best friend and I stayed here with our four kids (17 and 13 and 17 and 16). We made the siblings share the king bed rooms and we moms opted for the twin room so we could have our own beds. The kiddos found the board games (Are You Normal? and Trivia Pursuit), pulled the table into the middle of the living room and spent the evening actually socializing and interacting with each other! Side note for other unobservant parents, we did not realize the Are You Normal? was supposed to be 18+. They...
