”Beautiful old convent reinvented to a unique hotel with so much character. We walked 5 mins into the little town to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail. We only stayed one night but it was lovely and very clean.”

”The balcony is really nice. The toilet door doesn’t shut. Make my room light go off as I pull the card out, so room cleaning was not done. Despite telling the staff and at the reception verbally, the making the room was not done for 2 days during my stay.”

”Lovely warm clean room perfect location. Would happily stay again”

”Lovely stay, we felt like we were staying with friends. We also appreciated the extra frig for guests and the fact that there were so many restaurants within a 5 minute walk.”

”Traditional place very cool for friends to bond no tv which is awesome basic utilities not fancy perfect for a group of people”

”Cooking amenities lacking. Only 2 frying pans and 1 very small pot. One pan you could not use . It was so scratched that it was unsafe to cook in. Teatowel had holes in it. Fridge had last guests food still in it. Had to buy pegs to hang laundry. Washing machine on button was broken, thankfully they had another machine next to it. Rubbish bins were full. We were staying 5 nights with a family of 3 adults children so had to put rubbish in recycling bins. Lawns were very overgrown. Covers on...

”average old chalet ”

”Lovely hotel. The upgraded room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Wonderful suprise after long travel. The service upon arrival was friendly and cheerful—I felt truly welcome. The laundry room was a big plus. Breakfast was à la carte. I enjoyed having breakfast served at the table, but I found myself wishing for more variety—like filled sandwiches, fresh vegetables, and fruits. I was also surprised that it wasn’t possible to order fruit even for an extra charge. Fresher options would be a...

”The location was great close by sky city. The room was clean but pretty basic. The restaurant had nice menu but the breakfast was mediocre. The road noise was quite loud coming from the street in front of the hotel. Also they held the credit card authorization for a month. And it was supposed to be released in few days.”

”This new place is a welcome discovery, perfectly positioned just a hundred metres or so from the Newmarket Train Station (direct CRL into the city) and also the Newmarket shopping district with Westfield, cafés etc. The rooms are very nicely appointed, the bed linen of excellent quality and the general ambience very pleasant. It presents excellent value in comparison to many other options - we will definitely we staying here again.”

”Good quiet stay, clean room and bathroom”

”I enjoyed this motel as it felt like it’s maintained professionally (which can’t be said of many motels). It’s clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful. Restaurants, mall and train station nearby. Would recommend.”

”Really great location, loved that. Excellent to have secure off street parking. Nice complimentary snack basket. The beds were comfortable. However, please note that the economy studio has one tiny high window, but is essentially a windowless block bunker under the back of the building. There is no natural ventilation, light or outlook. It was ok for us as on this trip we just needed a bed at night, however we would have been very disappointed if wanted to spend any time there. Also, one...
