Picture a summer evening in the Pocono woods. The string lights are glowing over your own mini golf course, someone is lining up a strike on the backyard bowling lane, and the kids are racing between the swings and the slide. Up on the covered deck, dinner is on the table, and the hot tub is warm and waiting.



That's an ordinary day at Emerald Bliss. It's 3,000 square feet of modern farmhouse chalet, with soaring ceilings, a stone gas fireplace, rustic log beds and a flexible layout built for big groups, so no one ever feels crowded. Better still, the fun doesn't depend on the weather: the backyard is a private game park, and the house has two game rooms for rainy days.



A day at Emerald Bliss



Morning

Sip a hot cup of coffee by the chalet windows or out on the deck. Yes, we provide the coffee: the coffee station is stocked with K-cups, coffee grounds, tea, sweeteners, creamers and syrups. Then let the kids loose on the playground while the grown-ups ease into the day.



Afternoon

The backyard is the heart of the place. Play a round on your own multi-hole mini golf course, roll a few frames on the outdoor bowling lane, and settle the score with cornhole and horseshoes. There's a hammock for anyone who'd rather watch. When summer heats up, head to the community's sandy lake beach and swimming pool (10 AM–6 PM, Memorial Day to Labor Day), rent a paddle boat, or grab a court for pickleball, tennis, volleyball or basketball.



Evening

Fire up the grill and gather at the long table on the covered deck. Or cook a proper feast in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, pots and pans, a spice rack, serving dishes and a full set of plates and cutlery for 18+. There's bar seating for 4 at the island and a dining table for 12, so everyone sits down together. If you're looking for the place to host this year's holiday, this is it.



Night

Three separate entertaining spaces mean the night can go in every direction at once. The great room has big leather sofas, a stone gas fireplace and a smart TV. Downstairs, the Lounge has a pool table, shuffleboard and a huge sectional with a big-screen TV. Upstairs, the loft game room has air hockey, foosball and another big screen under the pine ceiling. Board games are stocked for everyone in between. After dark, the backyard landscape lighting keeps the yard glowing, and the private hot tub is the perfect last stop, available 24/7/365.

The king and queen rooms have high-count Egyptian cotton linens, and the two bunk rooms, with 4 beds each, give the kids their own sleepover-style nights away from the adults. Floor plans are in the photos.

The house is serviced by mini split wall units for heat and AC so you can customize the climate in every room.



Traveling with a baby? Let us know and we'll have a pack 'n play and high chair set up before you arrive. Need to check in with the office? The WiFi is ultra fast. TVs are in both game rooms and the bedrooms.



Every season has its own reason

Summer means mini golf and bowling in your own backyard, then the community beach and pool. Winter means ski days at Big Boulder (11 minutes away) and Jack Frost, then the hot tub when you get back. Fall brings crisp leaf-peeping drives and a quick trip to historic Jim Thorpe, and when it rains, the game rooms are calling.

Emerald Bliss is a year-round destination for a fun yet relaxing and serene getaway close to outdoor adventure, where family and friends spend quality time and make memories together. We're in a peaceful lake community, so think mini golf tournaments and late-night card games rather than loud music. If you're planning a party, a late-night event or a boisterous gathering, another host will be a better fit. Our full house rules are under "Other things to note."



Guest Access

The whole place is yours: the chalet, both game rooms, the backyard mini golf course, bowling lane, playground, cornhole, horseshoes, hammock, private hot tub (24/7/365), and the covered deck with the gas grill and outdoor dining.



Arriving

Check-in is at 4 PM and checkout is at 11 AM. Check yourself in with the door keypad. Community management requires us to share each guest's email, mobile number and mailing address, plus the license plate and state of every vehicle, 72 hours before arrival, so please send those as soon as you book. Up to 7 vehicles can park, but every vehicle must fit in our driveway, so the size of your cars may limit the total. Please don't park on the community streets.



The community

Your stay includes 8 passes for the community amenities: the sandy lake beach, swimming pool and boat rentals (Memorial Day to Labor Day), plus pickleball, tennis, volleyball and basketball. The community pool is open 10 AM–6 PM, Memorial Day to Labor Day. Additional amenities passes are available for $10 per person. Children 5 and under don't need a pass. Please keep the passes with you whenever you use the amenities. The beach and pool lot allows 3 cars per house, so choose up to 3 vehicles for amenity parking passes. Bring your own beach towels for the beach and pool.



Security

Exterior security cameras cover the outside of the property for your safety.



Other things to note

Booking details

The guest who books must be 25 or older and stay for the whole trip, from check-in through check-out. Our rates are set by dynamic pricing software that follows real-time demand in the area, so prices can move. If you love the dates, book soon to lock in today's rate.



Staying a week?

Stays of 7 nights or more get a discount. If you later shorten your trip to 6 nights or fewer, the discount drops off and the total can end up higher than the longer stay. We can't pro-rate it for shorter stays, so plan with that in mind.



What we stock, and what to pack

You'll find a weekend's worth of supplies: 14 bath towels, a hand towel and makeup towel in each bathroom, 6 jumbo toilet paper rolls, 2 paper towel rolls, 6 dishwasher pods, 4 laundry pods and 6 kitchen trash bags. Please pack washcloths and beach towels. Several grocery stores and markets are within a 5-minute drive for bigger groups or longer stays. If the grill's propane runs low, refill it locally, send us the receipt and we'll happily pay you back.



Good to know

Unfortunately due to recent brush fires in the community, Management currently has an OPEN FIRE BAN (grilling is allowed).



The home has a standard residential water heater: it handles 3-4 hot showers back-to-back, then needs about 30 minutes to catch up, so stagger showers and everyone stays warm. The home is spread over three levels, so expect stairs. Commercial photography and filming aren't allowed unless we've agreed to it in writing before you book.



House rules

We're a peaceful lake community, and these rules keep it that way for you and for our neighbors. They're firm, and we appreciate you honoring them.

• Quiet hours are 9 PM to 9 AM. The string lights switch off at 9:30 PM, and the backyard landscape lighting stays on for the rest of the evening.

• Each noise complaint carries a fine of $500 or more. After a second complaint, guests must leave the property immediately.

• No parties or events. That includes prom parties: requests for one will be blocked and reported to Airbnb.

• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property ($500 fine).

• No fireworks anywhere in the community.

• Lost amenity passes: the community office replaces all 8 and charges us $750, which is passed on to you.

• Please leave the furniture, decor, kitchen supplies and games where they are. Moving them leads to extra cleaning fees and/or a fine of $300 or more.

• No parking on community streets.

• All guests follow the community rules and are responsible for any community fines during their stay, separate from any host fines.

• By booking, your group accepts responsibility for the use of the property and its amenities and releases the hosts from liability.
