”Clean rooms and staff very helpful. The outdoor shared terraces are beautiful and quiet. Restaurants are abundant and everything is very walkable. Safe and friendly neighborhood. One downfall was the wifi was not very good. We had lots of data on our esim so it was okay but would be challenging if you are relying on wifi.”

”Kaunis vanha rakennus. Aamiainen hyvä. Näin huhtikuussa todella viileä, huoneessa kyllä lämmitys. Olisi ollut parempi nukkua yläsängyssä jossa todella olisi ollut lämmintä, mutta yläpedissä ei ollut minkäänlaista reunaa, joten olisinko sieltä pudonnut?”

”Hôtel récent et de qualité incluant tous les services: piscine, gym etc… Restauration de qualité supérieure. Prix raisonnable. Fortement recommandé.”

”Comfy bed. Neat, tidy and clean. Fresh fruit available. Bright and spacious. A little tricky to find the first time, but this is more to do with the way google maps depicts the area (and how tired I was when trying to read the map 😉) than the directions received. Very responsive host. Would stay again!”

”Best location in the old town! Great local shops right next door. Kitchen and washing machine. Friendly receptionist between 9am-6pm. However: The deluxe double room was nothing like deluxe: so small that when you enter, the door hits the bed. Bed is not double size and mattress is uncomfortable. In the shower the water doesnt go down. The chair in the room was stained as were the cover pillows. For the price we accept this room, but really a couple can only stay there for 1 night. Also since...

”This is a giant, rambling old mansion that has been converted into lodging. I wish we'd had more time to discuss its history with our host Maria. We wound up here because our original choice had a fire, and we had to find a place at the last minute. We were here to tour the university and it's about a 25 minute hike. In the end, our room was comfy, cool and quiet, and that's what's important to us. BTW, Uber works really well in Coimbra.”

”The apartment arrangement is fine. Next to the University of Coimbra which was the reason for our stay. Coimbra near the University is very hilly, but the area is beautiful in September. Tour of the campus and famous library. The rooms are small which brings back memories of being a student in college.”
