”Bath tub reception staff really good and friendly let down by the restaurant staff very poor breakfast no bread”

”I rented three single rooms for my mother, my sister and I. The rooms are small. They’re just what you need. Everything is clean. They were comfortable little views of older buildings. I went with the option to include breakfast. It was a nice breakfast at a very reasonable price. Grateful to make the start of our day so easy. There is a pool we did not go because it started to rain. It looked very nice. Up the street and around the corner is the castle. It’s in a great location. It’s easy...

”Great location, lovely setting and a private chapel included. Value for money.”

”Practical place in the center of town! Lovely staff! The property can benefit from an upgrade but good value for money!”

”What a stunning place! Sandrine greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. The ensuite room was small but perfectly appointed for our stay. There was a lovely lounge with comfy sofas amd a TV. The outside space was beautiful, with ample seating for ourselves and other guests. We didn't take a dip in the pool but it looked so inviting. We will definitely be booking again for a longer stay just so we can try out the pool!! Oh and I can't not mention breakfast, fresh eggs, fresh pastries and...

”Unieke locatie! Helemaal tot rust komen klopt hier 100% ;-)”

”Beautiful location. Up in the mountains so driving at night is difficult. Very friendly people who can tell you about the area and people who live there. The kitchen is good, beds are ok. ”

”Fint sted, men ingen frokost som var inkludert. Personale kunne svært lite engelsk, og brydde seg ikke om å prøve. Kaldt rom, og ac ga kun kald luft. ”

”Muito acolhedor e lindo.”

”Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. The pictures do not do it justice. The place is totally unspoilt so much to do around. You definitely need a car to get round. We came to the area to visit family, without that we would have never known about it. I would recommend to anyone wanting to experience the real Portugal. One last mention would be for Manuel, his attention to the property from making sure we had everything we needed, watering the grounds everyday. He’s a real...

”Staff was great. Thank you to the gentleman at réception who pointed is to a less hairy way out of Piodao through Vendas da Galizes. We are so grateful. Property is mice and clean but needs a little work here and there. Buffet restaurant is OK.”

”A comfortable room, excellent food both at dinner and breakfast, and an interesting property with lots of history. The legend of Inez and Pedro gave it a unique twist, and the numerous pictures of them by many different artists were displayed throughout the hotel. We also walked through the gardens in the back. They are probably beautiful in the spring and summer, but being October there were just a few plants still in bloom. We enjoyed our stay very much!”
