”Wow what an amazing place ! The whole complex is fabulous ! The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly ! The chalets and villas are all fantastic with everything you would need . Sea views ! ”This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The hotel was extremely charming with excellent staff. It’s located within the castle walls and near the entrance of the castle, which is open 24/7. The hot tub area is by reservation only (no charge), so me and my husband drank wine and watched sunset all by ourselves. They also provide thick robes in the bedrooms for this. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of options to choose from: meats, cheeses, cereal, fresh pastries, fruit and more....

”Spent here 6 nights on a slow season with pretty much rain every day. Didn't matter because the room was comfortable and spacious, food was delicious and we had the spa basically all to our selves with the missis. The service here is excellent. The spa even had a proper Finnish sauna with a proper Finnish made stove which as a Finn made me proud. Very rare at these latitudes. However they must of not gotten the memo about changing the stones in the stove every now and then. The stones had had...
