”Very nice stay, friendly service and clean facilities. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast (with e.g. omelettes made to the guest's liking, and lactose-free yoghurt available), the magnificent views and the spa area. Great location also next to the gondola going up to First.”
”Easy access to and from the train station and central to being able to get access to experience First. The staff was absolutely lovely. The hotel breakfast buffet was excellent with extensive options. Additionally, the hotel restaurant options for dinner with very good. The indoor pool/whirlpool is large and very clean. ”
”The owners who are mom and son are just the angels of the place. They go an extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and not go hungry. The property is awesome and the bar though small had all the goodies one needs.
The Son is a true human being. We reached late and the dining was closed for the night. Even then he made sure that we got something to eat and made some fries and bread with butter and treated us to a very local peach schnapps to top the experience.
The Mom is an excellent chef...

But if you are traveling by car, know that you need to park your car down in Lauterbrunnen, this is a no car - zone. And the GPS leads you astray, so don’t set the hotel’s address but simply Lauterbrunnen, then take the gondola up to Mürren. ”
