”Just beautiful ”

”We had such a lovely stay at Gatehouse 2! The unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed our meals outside on the deck with a table that could seat all of our family of 8 easily while catching beautiful views of the river! While we were nervous that this unit seemed to be a shared house (duplex), it was quiet and we had our own space with plenty of privacy. ”We had cottage #17. The cottage was excellent and very clean. Everything worked like it should, good water pressure, washer/dryer in the cottage, and 2 bathrooms! Management response to any question was fast and friendly. The only thing the cottage didn’t have was a good view of the river, although you can get a glimpse from the porch if you look to the right. However, that is not a knock as the cottage is an incredible value. You do have access to the river but it requires walking down a little...

”The cabins are cute and situated above the water with a nice view. The area is very nice and quiet and walkable out in the country. The cabins are dated with vintage kitchenettes and very basic furniture. You need to bring pretty much everything. Keeping in mind these are geared toward fishermen, a few added amenities could justify doubling the rates during the high season when they're kind of an overflow to the A-Bay vacation crowd.
