Welcome to our boho/industrial basement apartment retreat near DC in Alexandria, VA! This space offers the perfect balance of tranquility and city access. Immerse yourself in the charm and unwind close to nature and just a short drive away from the bustling attractions of Washington, D.C. Our thoughtfully designed basement has everything you'll need. Escape the city and experience the best of both worlds in our urban oasis.

The space:
Our basement apartment is designed to offer just enough comfort while also adding a bit of an industrial vibe. Our favorite upgrade is the bathroom, followed by a fully stocked kitchen. We were committed to having a queen bed and additional sleep options as well as a comfy place to lounge. We took creative liberties and will always continue to play with color in the space!

We're close to the Potomac, River Farm, Mount Vernon, Old Town, and DC while also steeped in nature right by the trail that runs along the water. It doesn't get better than this for us, and we hope you agree!

Guest access:
You have full access to the basement apartment that has a private entrance, backyard, and driveway. We live upstairs and keep the spaces separate. If you anything, we're a phone call away!

Other things to note:
Our home is our refuge and hope it will be for you too! We have a dog and new baby--you might hear them both. We have noise machines that should help if needed for your stay. Our home is older so you'll also likely hear us walking around if you're home but hopefully you'll be on an adventure!
