Puumajat – Alexandria

”Sunrise Alex is one of the most sensible choices in Alexandria. It is in the middle of the "Corniche" as is often referred to Al Geish East-West coastal road in Alex with good transportation to downtown or to Montazah Palace and beyond. The hotel is well maintained, and the breakfast options are plenty. Rooms are conveniently on the beach and pools, and the enclosed beach allows for good safe swimming. Like many hotels in Egypt they are relaxed about smoking and if you do not smoke you may find...

”Very nice location, wonderful staff, and very well maintained premises. Adequate breakfast buffet in a very nice setting.”

”Great hotel for Families”

”The property is very nice. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were super friendly. I hoped the pool was heated as shown on their site especially in October , especially it was a bit chilly! I asked them why is it not heated? They said it will be heated starting November! Not sure why not in October especially that no one was daring to use the pool and always empty, so it needs to be heated !!!”

”Hotellilla on viisi tähteä - kovin ovat pieniä minun mielestäni. Kulahtanut ja väsähtänyt paikka, jossa henkilökunta erinomaista ja ystävällistä. Tässä kohteessa ei pidä odottaa liikoja.”

”Erittäin ystävällinen ja palvelualtis henkilökunta. Siistit ja kauniit yleiset tilat.”

”Very good place. My parents loved it”

The balcony was positioned at the side of the room rather than offering the direct sea view we had expected. We could not even open the window because of the noise and diesel fumes. When we raised our concerns, the hotel staff told us that the hotel was fully...

”Very outdated facility very old and smelly, breakfast was bad feel like they was serving left overs, they prevent you to order any kind of food from outside and they add 24% markup fees on any order, even their menu doesn’t say 24%”

”Runsas egyptiläinen ja eurooppalainen buffet. Siisti tilava huone ja kylpyhuone. ”

”We stayed at one of the apartments with ocean view and the view did not disappoint. Although the balcony was very small, just big enough for 2 small chairs, we really enjoyed watching the sunsets. The location is great, there are many restaurants and coffee places nearby and you can walk to most tourist attractions. it was however very noisy, we recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, the property needs some work, it is an old building and it shows. Finally, there is a small...
