”Stayed here recently and overall it was an average experience. The location was a big plus; being close to downtown Pittsburgh made it really convenient to get around. The room itself was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the electronic fireplace was a nice touch that kept the room warm and cozy. Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue. When we arrived, there were crumbs on the sofa and parts of the floor felt sticky. The room just didn’t feel as clean as it should have been. The lighting...

”This hotel is located near the airport. The room was comfortable. I struggled with the cleanliness of the property. The stairwells were unkept, dirty garage cans and floors were not vacuumed very well. I found a dirty washcloth in the tub and mucus on the pen by the bedside. These things made me wondered about the hygiene of the room. ”

”The best thing about this property is the amazing staff. They are the absolute best, must friendly hotel staff I have ever encountered. Breakfast could be better but it is okay. The wonderful hospitality makes up for the mediocre breakfast. I mean it’s complimentary so… Thanks Microtel for hiring such great staff”

”The room and kitchenette were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the pillows The right consistency. The staff that I dealt was amazing. Nigel checked me in and assisted with the very minute issues that arose swiftly and with a smile and kind words. His work was top tier. Josh checked me out and he was also a very pleasant and well mannered person. Due to these to people my family has decided that any time we visit the area again. This will be our hotel of choice.”

”The Lawrenceville location was perfect for us. There was a lot of street noise, though. They should have better insulated windows in the rooms.”

”I will start by saying that property is bit far from the downtown area I had my business, but I am glad I chose this hotel. It is quiet, clean, comfortable (mattress could be better, but wasn’t too bad - a good night sleep is paramount in a hotel). The breakfast was fresh, hot but standard. A few things were missing - hot oats did not have standard condiments like almonds, raisin and brown sugar. But overall, staff is friendly. I will go there again, if I am in Pittsburgh. One note for people...
