Charming 3-Bed Cottage in Quaint Alleyrac Village with Enclosed Yard and Modern Amenities

In the village of Alleyrac, with its 120 inhabitants, this 2-star municipal gîte (holiday cottage) is an ideal starting point for short hikes accessible to all. Whether on foot, by bike, or with a donkey (Rando-âne, 50 meters from the gîte, offers donkey rentals by the hour, day, or longer), the village boasts a network of marked hiking trails on the Mézenc plateau, bordering the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park. In the Sucs de Breysse, a remarkable biological site renowned for its flora and fauna, the landscape has been shaped by ancient volcanic activity. A circuit starting from Alleyrac offers the opportunity to explore them. For winter sports enthusiasts, the Estables resort, 10 km away, offers downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowkiting, a toboggan run, and more.

In the hamlet of Malhac, the Béate Museum is open to visitors. Ten kilometers away, Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille offers a rich cultural scene: visits to the Abbey Church and museums (Museum of Popular Beliefs, Museum of the Old School, European Cultural Center), the Brass Music Festival, and more. Twenty-five kilometers away, Le Puy-en-Velay completes the range of recreational, sporting, and cultural activities: the Crozatier Museum, a water park, a cinema, and more.

In the village square, the school offers all the services of a café-restaurant: food, bread, and a small grocery store. Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille has all the necessary shops and a weekly market on Tuesday mornings, as well as a farmers' market every Thursday evening in July and August. On Saturday mornings, the market in Le Puy-en-Velay surprises all visitors with the diversity of farm and artisanal products on offer: cured meats and other meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, and, of course, green lentils from Le Puy. In the heart of the village, the cottage features a large living area with an open-plan kitchen (refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, and flat-screen TV). The sleeping area comprises three bright bedrooms: the first two have double beds (140 cm) and built-in wardrobes, while the third has two single beds (90 cm) that can be joined together. The bathroom has a shower. Separate toilet.

A barbecue and garden table are available in the cottage's private, enclosed courtyard.

This accommodation is located in the village center, near the church bell, which rings from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.

A cot is available.
Bed linen is provided, and beds are made upon arrival.

A cleaning fee of €50 can be purchased at the time of booking or directly on-site during your stay.

If you do not purchase the cleaning option, you are responsible for cleaning the cottage yourself. The cottage must then be ready to welcome the next guests without our intervention. If, during the check-out inspection, we determine that someone needs to clean (or complete) the cleaning for you, a fee will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.
