”The snug was immaculate however we were unable to regulate the heating. In spite of turning all visible controls off, the heat was unbearable to the point we had to open the door at 4am.”

”Nice clean and spacious room in a great location. The digital check in was easy and the instructions describing the process were thorough. My only complaint is that there was not a hair dryer in the room.”

”Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for our travels. Beautiful building with lots of character. The linens were very nice. The hallways could use a fresh coat of paint, but every was very nicely decorated and high quality. We’ve been in Scotland two weeks and this was one of our favorite places we stayed at. Breakfast was very nice.”

”Very disapointed with this hotel, has 4 stars but should only be 2, should not be allowed to use Hilton name, very shabby dated rooms, was not what I expected for over 200 a night, will not use this hotel again”

”Great location for Edinburgh Airport without the crazy prices. Simple rooms but very clean and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. We will definitely use it again.”

”This one surprised us, was not expecting much. Yes it is older (but so am I), but the rooms have been remodeled, very comfortable, spacious, and spotless clean! The entire staff were wildly helpful (front desk, bar and restaurant.) The street it is on is very cool. We would stay here again, it brings a different vibe than boring chain hotels or tiny closet-like European rooms. Felt like a family business and I am super cool with supporting that.”
