This is a very cute and comfortable hotel, and my room facing the ocean with a balcony was basic but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, everybody was super nice, and the ocean strip with restaurants was really great. La Herradura is lovely.

Hôtel très décevant mais très beau spot
Hôtel très bien situé mais pas à la hauteur d’un Mélia 4 étoiles ! Chambre à la déco vieillotte, très mauvaise literie, nettoyage très moyen, climatisation mal odorante, pas d’oreiller supplémentaire, pas de coffre-fort, langue parlée uniquement Espagnole et anglais uniquement à l’accueil, pas de bar au bord de la piscine mais un distributeur de boissons ! Au bar de l’hôtel impossible d’avoir un cocktail ils avaient juste du Martini et du rhum..! Pas digne d’un 4 étoiles! Par contre petit déjeuner et dîner très bon avec du choix et panorama splendide ce qui fait oublier un peu le reste !

hotel pendiente de una renovación interior, las habitaciones y baños un poco antiguas, resto ok. Seria interesante que en el parking instalaran un cargador para V.E. ya que en todo el pueblo no hay ningún cargador y puede ser un punto a favor del hotel.

It is an excellent hotel with very friendly staff who are helpful at all times. It is right by the beach and near cafes bars and restaurants. The rooms are large and airy, comfortable and very well serviced every day. breakfast is a delicious buffet with lots of variety. I would most definitely stay there again.

The place was “OK”, a bit dated but comfortable. I was very disappointed by the laundry service: they charged me 100 Euro for a small bag of clothes that would have costed 15 Euro at a normal laundry place. Extremely overpriced for this type of hotel... The breakfast was also not great, just “OK”

Poco personal aunque agradable
El hotel estaba muy limpio pero han reducido al máximo el personal y la atención es deficiente a pesar de que los trabajadores son muy amables. Lo pero el desayuno, muy malo: productos de poca calidad y muy poco variado. Tan sólo había una camarera para atender el desayuno que era muy amable pero no podía atender a todos los clientes. hacía mucho calor en la habitación y era imposible regular el aire acondicionado que daba de lleno de cara. En la piscina no había servicio de bar por falta de personal.

Das Hotel ist nah am Strand gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und groß. Frühstück sehr gut, Service perfekt. Kann "leider" keine Kritik geben.

The room was beautiful and large. Bathroom was also very spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was great, right across the street from the beach and a restaurant with an amazing beach barbecue paella. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay here and the hotel was lovely and clean, the pool was fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with a bit of updating - they are quite old fashioned which is fine as they have nice character but some of the decor - particularly the pictures look a bit dated. In saying that the rooms were lovely and clean and we had a nice sea view. The one thing that would improve the rooms is if tea, coffee and water is available in the rooms. There were a few times when it would have been great to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee and we were unable to do so. It would also be nice if more toiletries such as conditioner, shower gel and body lotion were provided in the rooms. Not essential but would be a nice touch. These were very minor issues - overall we loved our stay. The pool is gorgeous and very quiet - plenty of loungers and easy to call the bar if you needed refreshments. The staff were what made this hotel fantastic as well as the location. Right on the beach - free sun loungers and if you wanted the cushion for them it was only 5 euros which we thought was reasonable. There are some lovely places to eat nearby, including Bola Marina, La Dolce Vita, Bambu and the beach shacks which I can't remember the names of. They all provided lovely food and great service. The staff in the hotel couldn't have done more for you and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!

Jättebra hotell, bekväma och rymliga rum. Bra frukost! Poolen på taket var bra, ok med solsängar MEN varför fanns det ingen möjlighet att köpa något att dricka? Det fanns en bar där uppe men den var aldrig öppen - jättesynd. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma.

Not quite 4* - but a good hotel
Stayed at this hotel for one week with the family. Two rooms, both generous in size but a bit dated. Beds very comfy but bedding not the crispest. Room cleaned daily and fresh towels everyday if you wanted. Bathroom good but only shower gel and hand soap available. Tiny balcony so couldn’t sit as a family whilst our granddaughter was asleep which was a shame. Side view to the sea. Breakfast good with a fair amount of choice - coffee, juice, eggs, bacon, Spanish sausages, peppers, cold meats, cereals, fruit, toast, etc etc. We sat outside every morning overlooking the beach (road in between) which was nice. Used the pool a few times. Small but perfectly adequate. Sun beds, umbrellas and tables at the front overlooking the beach. Hardly anybody up there so it felt like our private pool which was fun. Very quiet bar at night so only used it for our pre bed drink. Hired a car so used their car park - 22 euros a day so quite expensive but parking locally can be a problem. Very friendly staff especially Carmen on reception. It’s not quite as pretty as the photos suggest but nevertheless we had a good week there and enjoyed La Herradura.

A great place to stay in La Heradura
The location of this hotel is beautiful. As you walk out of the reception you are directly onto La Heradura beach and one of the most pretty bays in the Costa del Sol. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and spotlessly clean if not a little dated. The selection of food for the evening meal buffet was a little limited and if I stay again I would book breakfast only as there are many lovely restaurants along the beach front very close to the hotel.

Sehr praktisch direkt am Strand gelegen. Mit etwas Glück bekommt man vor dem Hotel einen öffentlichen, kostenlosen Parkplatz. Das Hotelteam war superfreundlich und hat uns ganz herzlich empfangen. Sehr gastfreundlich und aufmerksam. Jederzeit wieder. Tolles Frühstück, es bleibt kein Wunsch offen.

Good hotel
Hotel has been in the village for years. Staff extremely friendly and Ramona on reception over night went out of his way to help us. Hotel across the road from beach but has its own pool on the roof. Basic but we were grateful that it was there as it was very hot. Rooms had air conditioning too. Breakfast was good too.

We were very happy with everything (breakfast, room, location, facilities), it was just a shame the mattraces were quite hard for comfortable sleep. We were also rating vey high the fact that we were allowed to use the pool after the check out on our last day.

El hotel es muy tranquilo, el personal muy amable y las habitaciones muy amplias y estan muy limpias. Es una pena que Melia lo tenga a medio gas. El hotel tiene muchas posibilidades pero necesita inversión. Creo que con no mas de 15 personas hacen todo: recepción, cafeteria, restaurante, habitaciones y mantenimiento. Con diferencia lo peor es el buffet. No vale prácticamente nada,sobre todo cena. Después de visitar docenas de 4 estrellas o superiores este estaría entre los peores. No tomar media pensión. Ofrecen periódico gratuito por la mañana. Lamentablemente sin diversidad. Solo La Razón. Sin comentarios. Por lo demás cómodo, agradable, el entorno bonito, aguas de playa límpidas como pocas. Por todo esto la nota que tiene creo que es justa.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, ansprechende Lobby. Schöner Außenbereich mit Blick aufs Meer/Strand. Der Ort hat mir gut gefallen, schöne weite Bucht u. sehr gepflegter Strand (Kies/Stein) mit Bewirtschaftung. Zimmer sind groß u. rustikal eingerichtet. Die Zimmerlage oberhalb der Zufahrt des P-hauses ist wegen der Klimaanlage oder Abluft für geräuschempfindliche nicht geeignet.Zw. Hotel u. Strand befindet sich eine Strasse, die wenig befahren ist (Nachsaison)

La playa de la herradura es muy bonita, el hotel es situado directamente frente mar. El desayuno es variado y completo, el trato súper amable. Las habitaciones son grandes y silenciosas, el hotel no demasiado tiene la dignidad de sus años :-)

El personal una maravilla en atención y actitud. El aire acondicionado no enfriaba bien en ninguna de las dos habitaciones en que estuve y una cisterna del WC no paraba de hacer ruido.
