Perfect Mountain Getaway
We had the most wonderful experience during our stay at Dave's remarkable home. Nestled against a breathtaking mountain backdrop, the views from both the front porch and the back deck were beautiful.
One of the highlights of our stay was walking down to the riverfront (a .5 mile walk from the home). It gave you a different view of the mountains and we even saw a family of bald eagles.
The home itself was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the things you needed to cook.
The location was great as well for the following reasons:
- Close to a grocery store and restaurants (5 minutes from the small Alpine downtown)
- 1 hour from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park
- 5 minutes away from rafting trips and 4x4 rentals
- 45 minutes from Jackson Hole
The hosts were responsive when we had questions.
One last note: I was worried about the 85-degree days and only having 1 AC unit. But the house stayed cool and comfortable. We didnât feel hot at all and didnât even turn the AC. If you are like us and are from a hot and humid area of the country that may sound crazy, but the mountain climate is very different and it gets cool at night and keeps the home comfortable.
