1. Villa with Pool/Garden Near the Ocean

Altavilla Milicia

”The house was very dirty; there weren’t even any sheets to cover up with, there’s no air conditioning in the living room, and the linens they provided weren’t exactly fresh. It’s very far from the sea, and the beach is terrible. The neighbors are literally right on your property, and the houses are very poorly laid out. It’s not worth it at all for this price—the kitchen is terrible, the staircase is terrible, and the bathrooms are terrible (I’ve never seen anything worse).”

”There is an amazing restaurant next door which our host graciously arranged for seating when our flight was delayed! Our group had multiple travel delays, and our host was very flexible and helpful. He even helped to get us to a neighboring town to see other family in the area. It is close to the Himera Archaeological Park so expect some dust in the rooms. We had expected to be renting a house we would have for our group of 9. There were other renters in the rooms we hadn't reserved. This...

”I stayed here for just over a week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The host was communicative and check in was easy. The location is right on the beach as shown, it does get pretty busy but as your further towards the end of the beach I had no trouble finding space. The host also provides chairs and an umbrella for the beach which was great. There is a supermarket about a ten minute walk away, restraunts and a gelateria by the main road. You do have to take a car (uber) to palermo center.A...
