”A few family members and I stayed for our annual girls weekend trip. The host was great with communication and we felt very welcomed at this secluded house. With three bedrooms, we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time away from home. The surrounding woods gives a very private feel. The location was wonderful for our weekend winery trip. We didn't have time to explore the Natural Bridge or The Little Grand Canyon, but we were very close to the Shawnee National Forest.”

”Very nice well-kept older property. We-furnished and comfortable. Outdoor hot tub and lounging area are avery nice touch. ”

”The cottage was absolutely beautiful and very cozy!! Check in was at 4:00 and a breeze to get in. It was clean and the hot tub was a great bonus!! We loved our stay. We toured the Cross of Peace around the corner from us, enjoyed the Alto winery and Orchards. Lots to do in a small town. We rode our bicycles one evening and loved looking at the countryside. Great little getaway for us. Thanks for being great hosts. ”

”The stay was wonderfully relaxing. Great location! The accommodations were right by Feather Hills Winery and near many others. Comfortable, clean, and we loved the hot tub! Would definitely stay again if back in the southern Illinois wine country!”

The kitchen was fully equipped, including a good selection of coffee and creamers. The covered front porch was a great place to visit, enjoy our morning coffee or evening drink. It was also a good spot to wait out a morning rain before getting on our motorcycles to explore. The wineries close by stop food service...

”Ashley was always quick to respond with questions that I had! We had everything we needed and the house was ready for us! The kitchen was an open concept with the living room, which was very nice! The house situated on a dead end and it was very quiet and peaceful! Nice to set on the front porch where you could see the lake and watch the deer! Would definitely recommend this nice home!”
