MOUNTAIN FAMILY LODGE!

Secluded Mountain Log Lodge in NM Sangre de Cristo Mountains-
Hand crafted lodge that has been a single family home, corporate retreat and hunting lodge over the last 50+ years. 3800+sq ft log lodge tucked into an aspen grove with year round creek right outside your window. Beautiful views from the front porch of snow capped mountains and western sunsets. Paint landscapes or just enjoy an evening beverage/cigar from the large covered porch. Enjoy Morning coffee in a rocking chair on the porch Watching the birds & listening to the Quaking Aspens!
Elk and other wild animals roam the 69 acre property.
A Single dog is allowed for a $50 fee per stay. Your dog should not be left unattended inside or outside of the lodge.
Beautiful Large stone fireplace in the living room with firewood to set the mood. Five bedrooms and one loft with a total of 13 beds. Three full bathrooms with showers. Propane heat and kitchen stove. Two dining tables with 16 seats. Washer and dryer. High speed internet and smart TV.
Settle into a card game on the poker table which is right next to the comforting wood stove. Compete in a game of pool. Bring your hammocks and take an afternoon nap in the aspen grove with babbling creek yards away.
Our Lodge is adjacent to Rio Costilla Park with endless hiking and fishing.
Red River, NM is about 35 miles away with great dining, shopping & year-round activities and Taos, NM about 45 miles away.
This is a great remote
get-a-way, family reunion, corporate/board retreat and secluded vacation destination.

Be aware since our lodge is very secluded we have 4 security cameras on each side of the lodge. The security cameras are OUTSIDE ONLY. There are no cameras inside the lodge.
Also,
Be aware that with the wild animals that frequent the property guests need to be very cautious and never approach or harass the wild life in any way and never leave small children or dogs alone outside the Lodge.

*Please note if requesting to book a holiday that falls on a Friday or a Monday, booking will require the adjacent weekend with the Holiday to be included in that reservation. **Christmas and New Years weeks require a 5 night minimum.

No camping or fires on property. No ATV's or snowmobiles allowed on the property. There are places nearby to enjoy both of these.
No shooting firearms or fireworks on property allowed.
Dogs NEVER left outside or inside unattended. •Only 1 fully trained dog allowed per stay. Violation incurs fee and eviction without reimbursement

Spring break ski trip

We had a great time with our family and friends which consisted of 3 parents and 9 people from 24 down to 14. We had pool tournaments and played lots of other games on the days that the ski slopes were to windy. The drive to the slopes was good as well we saw lots of new scenery that we don’t get to see in Arkansas. We drove to Red River 2 days and drove to Wolf Creek 2 days. We had plenty of room for everyone and still had 4 beds that were empty.

Loved this place

Absolutely loved staying in this cabin. The scenery was perfect. The pool table was a lot of fun. Lots of room and owners were very nice and responsive. I would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to stay here again to stay here again.

Memories for a Lifetime

If you're thinking about booking the TC Lodge, do it immediately (just not before I can book our next year, lol). It could not have been more perfect. My wife and our 5 kids spent 6 days here and it is more incredible than pictures can possibly capture! Nestled in the side of the mountain surrounded by snow, a frozen stream, and a beautiful grove of aspens with a million dollar view. The cabin itself is enormous and beutifully decorated in rustic weatern decor and awesome antiques, and has tons of room and space for everyone to spread out. Its nicely furnished, and we enjoyed the fire, cooking and eating as a family, board games, poker with tbe older kids, and the pool table is in excellent condition and was a big hit. The hosts responded within minutes anytime we had a question or needed anything at all, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and were ab absolute joy to interact and visit witb! We skiied Red River and has an easy peaceful 45 minute drive to the parking area each morning with great scenery along the way, and it gave the kids time to fully wake up (especially the teenagers, lol). The memories we made with our kiddos will last us all a lifetime, and we will be back for more! Thanks guys!

Ski trip

My family and I stayed the week following Christmas for a new year ski trip. We loved the property and house. Very roomy and spacious. Lots to do with beautiful views. Bev and Larry were very helpful and easy to contact. We loved it!

A Place to Get Away From it All

Beautiful, authentic cabin, in the Rockies. Accommodations were bountiful and comfortable. Easy to find. Roads are rough and activities are a LONG drive away. Closest fishing is 35 minutes, nearest grocery story is 45 minutes. You can walk the property, but hiking is quite away too. Truly away from it all, so do not forget anything you might need. But this is just what my family needed.

Beautiful area and wonderful property. Saw lots of wildlife. Enjoyed the week with family exploring Northern NM and Southern CO. Went on several hikes, highlight was Great Sand Dunes NP.

More than we could imagine

The location and views were phenomenal. The owners Bev and Larry were very easy to talk to and extremely friendly. I have been to Red River numerous times and this is the first time I have stayed outside of there and will no never stay in Red River again and would make this my choice of lodging. The cabin is very spacious and fully stocked with any and all cooking utensils needed for any kind or size of meal. The owners are very easy to talk to and will take care of any issue if one rises. The dryer broke while we were there and they had it repaired during our stay so that we weren’t inconvenienced. Would highly recommend booking this cabin if your looking for a remote getaway close to tons of stuff to do. 5 stars from my group

Christmas with snow and laughter

Such a beautiful get away! Never a dull moment; with pool table and the poker table always something to do. The cabin was perfect all the Christmas decorations and tree lite up such and extra special touch. Such a special place to make memories… the fireplace was gorgeous!!!

Off Beaten Path, But Amazing

Ready to get away for awhile, this is your place. The views are stunning and the large porch is icing on the cake. We had 15 people and the family dog. The inside is opened, so meals can be prepared while others are watching tv, playing pool, games, etc. The stars at night will take your breath away. The owners are outstanding, The best host we’ve ever had. Thanks Bev and Larry!

Beautiful, Spacious and Complete accommodations

The TC Lodge is nestled on the edge of the mountains yet has open area perfect to view colorful sunsets from the huge porch. The large open areas inside offer a welcoming and inviting area to share a game of poker, cards, dinner, or a challenging game of pool. Our family enjoyed spending time together in the comfortable areas, and meals from a well stocked kitchen. The owners were excellent communicators and very pleasant to work with.

AWESOME

This place was SO relaxing and beautiful. Remarkable woodsy setting. Roomy and fully equipped with everything you need to make it homey. Bought a hummingbird feeder for the hummingbirds and it was amazing to watch them. A little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. Would have liked to be closer to red river but amazing views and breathtaking sights. Amazing place. Thank you Beverly and Lawrence. Planning on making another trip and will book with yall.

Family ski trip

I had my complete family here all twelve of us. There was plenty of space for kids and adults. Enjoyed the pool table and the comfortable couches. Owners were the best people I have worked with at any property. Would definitely recommend to any family.

The owners were very helpful in all that this disabled Veteran could ask for. Very well maintained cabin and property. My family was very happy to see the Christmas tree and lights that were displayed upon our arrival. Thank you Larry and Beverly for your hospitality. Would definitely stay again.

Family Get away

Relaxing, spacious, lodge!!!!!

We stayed at this property in July, 2021 and I must say it did not disappoint. The lodge is what is shown in the pictures, rustic, picturesque, sprawling, but best of all peaceful, restful, a place to decompress. Our sons and their families and grandchildren were with us. There was something for everyone from the 5 year old to the teenagers to the elders. I didn’t give the kids the wifi password and they didn’t miss it. We sat on the front porch talking and learning more about each other. We played board games at night and cooked as a family. It was a bonding time much needed in our crazy world. We plan on making this our annual trip going forward. An amazing place!!! C Wilson
