”For one night, it was fine. We could not turn on the heat though even though it was May 29. The breakfast was perfect, some small items and some big. It was quiet and the room was very clean.”

”This hotel is very unsafe for a single women to stay. I was very uncomfortable immediately upon arrival - I have stayed at less than stellar hotels before but have never experienced such an unsafe environment. The person at the front desk tried to say that the hotel was safe and in the same breath said there was a recent car break in. The lobby smelled bad, people were walking around half naked, people were camped out in their cars acting extremely suspicious. I was made to feel very awkward and...

”The hospitality of this hotel is second to none. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never in 40 years been so welcomed and so appreciated and so helped even with the minor things like asking for a pen and they gave me a handful. If I ever traveled to Vancouver again, which I’m sure I will I will never stay anywhere else. I used to like the Heisman Lodge, but this place is nicer rooms and better hospitality.”

”Had 2 pleasant rooms, everything was wonderful. I made our room reservations online and decided to book but was disappointed because hotel information distance from BW hotel to Ilani Casino is 5.9 miles ONLY. BUT came to find out when we checked in that we have either direction drive 53 minutes just to go to the casino!!! NEED TO CORRECT INFORMATION ON THE HOTEL INFO SO OTHERS WON'T EXPERIENCE THE SAME PROBLEM WE BADLY ENCOUNTERED. Otherwise our BW hotel overnight stay was alright 👍. ...

”The room was clean and quiet. The property is still in need of repairs. The pool had to be reserved, one room at a time. That seemed odd and inconvenient. The location is excellent and easy to get to. However, it seems like they are gradually trying to fix up the property and we will be back in August.”

”This building is VERY rundown and looks nothing like the pictures posted online. Peeling wallpaper, wires hanging from the ceiling, stains on furniture, hair embedded in the sheets, etc.”

”When I arrived I was told that my room was being deep cleaned because someone was living in the room for 8 months and she had just moved out when I left and came back at check in time there were nats In the room I told the manger she didn’t offer to move me and when I asked about another room she said they were booked but I stayed for a week because I didn’t have any where else to go at the time I had to get all my own supplies to kill the infection in the room but the rooms she said were booked...

”Staff was very friendly and we loved our room. We had a King suite, and it was like being in a mini apartment. My son arrived a day before us and he had a queen room and he about the same type room that we had but a bit smaller. The room was clean and we were supplied with dish soap, towels, a regular sized refrigerator, dishes and a table for four people. The hotel is close to the mall and dozens of restaurants. We will be back!”

”Clean room, comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Conveniently located near the Vancouver mall with lots of dining options. We appreciated the in-room toaster and microwave. Overall, a great stay.”
