Peaceful Riverside Cabin

Welcome to our tranquil cabin on the Apple River located in Amery, WI. Our little slice of paradise where midcentury modern meets romantic cottage.

It's the perfect 1 hour getaway from the Twin Cities, just 20 minutes from Taylors Falls, and 5 minutes from Amery, where you can unwind, relax, and make yourself at home. Whether you want to read books & play games or explore trails and kayak, the Quinby Cottage provides versatility for all of our guests.

Situated on a large waterfront lot, our warm wooded cabin boasts 3 bedrooms, two light filled living spaces, 2 bathrooms, and a wrap around deck. Outside you will find two dedicated bonfire pits, horseshoe, corn hole, a flat top grill, and a private dock with great fishing & serene views. The garage extension features a game room with a pool table that also turns into a ping pong table. In the winter, enjoy the nearby 18 mile snowmobile Cattail trail or the ample amount of trails for snowshoeing. This very quiet and peaceful community makes it easy to unwind and enjoy a relaxing getaway.

Unfortunately the indoor fireplace does not operate safely and can't be used during this time. We have an electric fireplace in the sunroom.

Fishing:
Please follow all WI DNR rules & regulations if you plan to fish during your stay. Must have a fishing license.

Kayaking & Swimming:
By making your reservation, you understand that swimming and the use of kayaks is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming and using the kayaks. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming and use of the kayaks and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming and the use of kayaks may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming or using the kayaks if a person has health risks, or if a person swims or uses the kayaks while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Guests & Host.
