Fun Family Place with Extras and Space

This spectacular space is sure to check all the boxes!

Located in west Ames, in close proximity to Iowa State University, this twin home offers three bedrooms, two of which are en suite, perfect for privacy when traveling with colleagues, extended family, or friends. The third bedroom has a bathroom of its own just down the hall.

This house is surprisingly spacious! At just under 2,000 square feet, it provides room and style for everyone!

When mingling's the mission, there are two common areas to enjoy!

Upstairs you'll find a modern living room with seating for six, perfect for a quiet evening with a glass of wine and good conversation.

Downstairs is where fun is waiting to happen! The game room includes seating for six in front of our 75" TV, a pool table, air hockey, retro arcade games, a youth basketball hoop, and a game table for four which, of course, is accompanied by a variety of games to play!

When you're ready for some personal space, each of the sleeping quarters has ample to offer and is equipped with its own 43" TV.

This house sleeps 10:

Bedroom 2: King, Twin Daybed (x3)
Bedroom 3: Choose your snooze! This room is customizable to best suit your group! It comes standard with two Twin XL beds. You may opt to have them connected to create a King instead! Just let us know which way you'd like the room set up for you! This room also has a bonus standard Twin bed. (x3)
Living room: Full Hide-a-Bed (x2)

Our warm weather guests may enjoy their morning coffee or an evening cocktail on our front patio. Then feel free to fire up the grill and enjoy dinner in our cozy back yard, where there is dining seating for 10, and additional casual seating for 8 around the fire pit. Both of these spaces are softly lit for hours of nighttime enjoyment. (Available May-October.)

Our cold weather guests may enjoy a stimulating seasonal sensation! Bring your bathing suit and plan to treat yourself to a soak in our outdoor 6-8 person inflatable hot tub! Sink inside and let the jets heat and massage you, while the crisp, cool air simultaneously invigorates you! Just sit back, relax, and let the bubbles float your worries away! (Available November-April.)

This house offers driveway parking for one vehicle. Street parking is available for additional vehicles on an alternating side basis.

This property had it all! Clean, comfortable, lots of space to hang out as a family playing games and spending time together. Gina was the most generous host leaving special treats and lots of items to make our stay comfortable … more than at any property I’ve been to.

Gina’s place was everything we asked for and more. The game room was awesome kids and grandkids really enjoyed themselves. We all enjoyed all the little extras Gina supplied. We will definitely check to see if her property is available the next time we head to Ames.

This VRBO ranks at the top for owner communication, hospitality and extra amenities!We were so pleased with our rental. Great communication. The owner has clearly traveled and thought of all the extras to provide renters. We booked this property for an extended holiday/football weekend, and it worked out perfectly. The property manager, Gina was great with communications, and preparing the property to our needs with a toddler. On arrival, we were very pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities, food, snacks and toiletries that were stocked in the kitchen and throughout the home. The home was clean, well decorated and thought out. The games in the basement were a big hit with everyone. We definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

My daughter is a freshman at ISU and my mother is partially disabled. We wanted to visit her but have challenges finding places that are comfortable for everyone. Gina was great answering questions about the property and keeping in touch throughout our stay to ensure everything was as expected. My mother has a lot of challenges but was very comfortable and enjoyed her time. My kids never left the basement playing games all weekend long. And this 80s baby never left the arcade table playing all of my favorite games. My family road trips all over the US and have stayed at many VRBOs and I can tell you that Gina is a top-notch host! We were greeted with treats from the bakery. She already had basic essentials in the fridge and milk. As well as fresh fruit, small boxes of cereal, chips/cookies and every variety of coffee and tea you could imagine. I have never had a host be so accommodating. It was a pleasure, and we cannot wait to return. We have 5 years ahead of us as she is going through a Master's program. :-)

We were visiting for Iowa State's Family Weekend and the house was perfect. Plenty of space, close to campus and the downstairs game room and 75" TV was a hit. Definitely would recommend staying here.

House and property was perfect for our family get together for the 1st ISU football game. The yard and fire pit was also the perfect place for the family to gather each evening to share their stories. The beds were very comfortable and the games in the basement entertained the jr high grandkids. Bathrooms were very clean and plenty of kitchen items to feed and serve everyone. Great stay!

Our family stayed here for graduation weekend! Gina is amazing!!! The house is very clean and well stocked! There was fresh fruit and pastries! Flowers and a banner for our son who graduated! 7 moms stayed at this house for our sons fraternity’s Mom Weekend. The house was a perfect set up and all of the extras the host does is amazing! We arrived to donuts and an amazing coffee bar. It was great. The parking was a little difficult with 7 of us and having 1 parking spot and with Ames set up of alternating parking but we made it work. It’s just a little extra work moving cars. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!
