”The room and hotel were very clean. The breakfast was very good and fresh. The hotel is a bit dated but the views are beautiful. When we were there the pool and hot tub were closed for repairs. This didn't affect us but it may have been a problem for others since it's wasn't disclosed at booking.”

”The Lodge was beautiful and well-staffed and maintained. Unexpected for a State Park. The restaurant, Cascades, was also over-the-top good. All the staff were courteous and helpful and made my stay so enjoyable. Also the mountain park is absolutely gorgeous. The view from the Lodge is breathtaking!”

”This property was amazingly beautiful. Very friendly greeting from the Hostess, very clean and the grounds had several nice areas to sit and relax. It’s about 8 minutes from Dahlonega which is very convenient. If you’re looking for a nice place to unwind and be surrounded by flowers, trees and a beautiful view of the mountains this is it.”

”When we checked in the lady was very nice and pleasant. The room was okay somewhat out dated more than expected. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The young man that was there the next morning was not very friendly. The breakfast was not at all what the lady said it was going to be. Hard boiled eggs that were not done, mini sausages biscuits that were still frozen from the box they were dumped out of, gravy made in a coffee pot that was watered down. The young man only had on one glove...

”Pleasant stay for one night. Room was good, wifi worked like a charm. Breakfast was just toast, porridge, cereals and muffins, but worked for us.”

”We waited over 30 minutes to check in. We had to wait in a dirty run down outdoor deck with very old uncomfortable metal chairs. When we were finally given our room keys, we couldn't drive to our room because a truck was blocking the roadway. We ended up canceling our reservation and chose not to stay.”
