”The hotel is very modern and clean. My suite was very large and the surroundings are lovely. Staff is very friendly and the guard pointed me some animals hidden in the garden. Like a sloth having a nap in bar stool. Pool is nice but not for swimming. It's not deep enough. Lots of it is kids pool or ankle deep sitting water. ”It’s a family run business and the owner was super nice and helpful , the property was peaceful , the only noise was the wild animals on the property like howler monkeys and lots of exotic bird species , the owner prepared a papaya from the tree right in front of our room , it was delicious. ”I can only praise and give positive feedback!! Lovely place & lovely couple who owns it and takes care of you, proposes activities, tells stories about the food, locations etc. Lovely breakfast available every morning, in adittion to the coffee available every morning, which they bring to your room. Lovely place with sloths, birds etc around the premises. Lovely location a bit out of town but close to a nice beach, a store and still only a few min drive from town.”

”Everything about this property is wonderful. We cannot say enough about the hotel staff! Literally, EVERYTHING was great. We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars...

”Der Aufenthalt in Playa Negra Guesthouse war sehr erholsam. Sobald man das GelĂ€nde betritt, ist man fasziniert von dem gepflegten Garten und der Vielfalt an Tieren. Wir hatten das GlĂŒck ca. 2 m von unserer Terrasse ein Faultier zu beobachten, wie es vom Baum herunterklettert. Beide Gastgeber waren herzlich und sorgten fĂŒr einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. ”My first booking was cancelled without any reasonable reason. I was suppose to pay there and the hotel emailed me and asked me my card details via email to make a reservation. There is absolutely no reason to send my bank details to anyone via email. If they want to have reservation fee why not to let people pay for that online? Not very trustworthy.
